Stella and Bow is named after Lindsey's dog Stella, and Lauren's dog Bow.
Stella and Bow was founded by Lauren Brokaw and Lindsey Lerman, both born and bred in Beverly Hills. Lauren and Lindsey met through mutual friends in their 20's even though they had both gone to nearby elementary schools and Beverly Hills High School. Lindsey approached Lauren with the idea to make a jewelry line that would be like raiding your grandmother's jewelry box but with a modern, chic twist. Both girls discovered they shared creative skills, a passion for fashion, and a desire to express their individual talents.
Stella & Bow makes jewelry with vintage inspired touches and influences from luxury fashion houses, like Hermes, Chanel, Lanvin, and Valentino.
Both designers have worked in entertainment and fashion since high school; Lauren working at major fashion PR firms for clients such as, Chloe, Cartier, Van Cleef, and assisting top celebrity stylist, Cher Coulter, in addition to being a fashion blogger for The Daily Truffle and The Huffington Post. Lauren grew up on red carpets at film premiers and other Hollywood events with her father, Norman Brokaw, Chairman of William Morris Endeavor. Lauren has 4 dogs, Bow, Lily, Minnie Mouse, and Mr. Winston. She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, in Downtown Los Angeles, with a degree in Visual Communications.
Lindsey worked at entertainment talent agency, UTA, and several major movie production companies, like 21 laps. Lindsey
grew up assisting brother, actor Logan Lerman (3:10 to Yuma, Percy Jackson, and the upcoming, Three Musketeers, with
Milla Jovovich, Christoph Waltz, and Orlando Bloom), on all aspects of his hugely successful film career. Lindsey has two
dogs; Lola and Stella. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a B.A. in Political Science and a Minor in
Sociology.
